• Eligibility: Bookings are subject to availability and approval, and you must be 18+ or book with appropriate consent.
• How to Book: You can book by email, phone, WhatsApp/Viber, or in person at our Sydney office.
• Deposit and Payments: A deposit is typically required, with full payment due before departure.
• Pricing: Prices are shown in AUD and may change because of exchange rates, fuel charges, or supplier updates before final payment.
• Itinerary Changes: We may adjust itineraries for safety, operational, or supplier reasons. Significant changes may entitle you to an alternative or refund.

By You:

• More than 60 days before departure: full refund minus a reasonable administration fee.
• 30 to 60 days before departure: partial refund may apply.
• Less than 30 days before departure: many bookings are non-refundable.
• Flights and cruises are generally subject to supplier-specific terms and may be non-refundable.

By Us: We may cancel due to low numbers, unforeseen events, or non-payment. In those cases, we will offer a refund or travel credit in line with the booking terms.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

• Your Responsibilities: Ensure valid passports, visas, and vaccinations for your trip.
• Health and Fitness: Tell us about any medical conditions or accessibility needs before travel.
• Behaviour: You must comply with local laws, supplier requirements, and guide instructions.
• Luggage: Airline, hotel, and supplier baggage rules apply. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage where we are not the carrier or operator.

• Our Liability: Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of your booking. We often act as an agent for airlines, cruise providers, hotels, and tour operators.
• Risks of Travel: Weather, political conditions, health risks, and local restrictions may affect travel plans.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
• Website Use: Website information is general in nature and may change without notice.

All website content, logos, itineraries, written materials, images, and branding are owned by Kathmandu Travel Pty Ltd or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reuse them without prior written permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of New South Wales, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our site or services after those updates means you accept the revised Terms.
