Welcome to Seoul, South Korea! Upon arriving at Seoul Airport, make your way independently to your hotel.

This vibrant metropolis is a place where ancient customs coexist with technological innovation. From bustling street food markets and lively nightlife districts to tranquil Buddhist temples and striking contemporary architecture, Seoul offers an unforgettable experience at every turn.

Seoul → Mt. Seoraksan (B, L, D)

This morning, we depart from Seoul and journey toward Seoraksan National Park. Along the way, we stop at Sokcho Fishing Village, a community originally settled by refugees from Hamgyeong Province, North Korea, who fled south during the Korean War. Today, the village is renowned for its fresh seafood and vibrant local cuisine.

Continuing our trip, we arrive in the Mt. Seorak region, home to Korea’s most famous national park. Recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Preservation District since 1982, the park is a sanctuary for rare and diverse wildlife. Here, we explore the Shinheungsa Temple, a historic Buddhist site, before taking a scenic cable car ride to Gweongeumseong Fortress, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscapes.

Mt. Seorak → Andong → Daegu (B, L)

Today, we travel to Andong, a historic village renowned for its beautifully preserved traditional hanok houses and captivating mask dance performances. This UNESCO-listed village is home to descendants of the Ryu clan of Pungsan and is deeply rooted in Korean heritage.

Andong also holds great scholarly significance as the birthplace of Joseon-era intellectuals, including Gyeomam Ryu Un-ryong and Seoae Ryu Seong-ryong. The village gained international recognition when Queen Elizabeth II visited on April 21, 1999.

After exploring Andong, we continue to Daegu, where we visit the bustling Dongseongno Shopping District, a popular destination known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse retail offerings.

Daegu → Gyeongju (B, L)

After breakfast, we begin our journey with a visit to Cheomseongdae, the oldest surviving astronomical observatory in Asia, showcasing the scientific advancements of the Silla Dynasty.

Next, we explore the Gyeongju National Museum, which houses a remarkable collection of historical and cultural artifacts from the Silla Dynasty (57 BC – AD 935), offering a glimpse into Korea’s rich past.

Our journey continues with a visit to the Bulguksa Temple and the Seokguram Grotto, both designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These iconic landmarks are renowned for their breathtaking architecture and deep spiritual significance.

Finally, we arrive in Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom for over 1,000 years. Here, we explore the serene Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, a stunning royal retreat that beautifully reflects the elegance of Silla-era craftsmanship.

Gyeongju → Seoul (B, L)

Today, we journey to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), located 44 km northwest of Seoul, to explore one of the most significant sites in Korean history. Our first stop is North Korea’s 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, a passageway secretly constructed for potential military operations. Large enough to allow an entire infantry division to pass through in just an hour, this tunnel stands as a stark reminder of past tensions.

Next, we visit the Imjingak Resort Unification Park and the North Korea Centre, where we gain a deeper understanding of the Korean War and the ongoing efforts toward peace and reunification.

We then head to the Dora Observatory, offering a rare glimpse into North Korean territory. From here, we can see key locations such as the eerie Propaganda Village, the People’s School, and Kaesong City, the historic former capital of the Goryeo Kingdom.

This insightful experience provides a unique perspective on Korea’s divided past and hopes for the future.

Seoul (B, L)

Our day begins with a visit to Cheong Wa Dae, also known as the Blue House, the former residence of South Korea’s president. Nestled against the stunning Bugaksan Mountain, this iconic landmark symbolizes the nation's leadership and history.

Next, we explore the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace, the grandest of Seoul’s royal palaces, originally built in 1395 as the main seat of the Joseon Dynasty. Here, we step back in time and witness Korea’s rich cultural heritage.

We then visit a renowned Amethyst Store, where we learn about Korea’s prized gemstones, before heading to Insadong, a vibrant cultural district known for its traditional tea houses, artisan shops, and historical charm.

Our journey continues with a walk through the picturesque Bukchon Hanok Village, a beautifully preserved neighborhood lined with traditional hanok houses, offering a glimpse into the elegance of Korea’s past.

Seoul → Tokyo, Japan (B)

At the designated time, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Tokyo, Japan. Upon arrival, a transfer will be arranged to take you to your hotel, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey.

Tokyo (B)

Today, we embark on an exciting journey through Tokyo’s top attractions. Our first stop is Odaiba, a futuristic island in Tokyo Bay, where we admire the stunning Rainbow Bridge and the impressive Statue of Liberty replica.

Next, we visit the world-famous Tsukiji Fish Market, a paradise for seafood lovers and a vibrant hub of local flavors. Enjoy some free time for lunch, where you can sample fresh sushi and other Japanese delicacies.

Our exploration continues at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, where we ascend to its 200-meter-high observation deck, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the vast cityscape.

We then take a step into history at Sensoji Temple (Asakusa Kannon Temple), Tokyo’s oldest and most vibrant Buddhist temple. After soaking in the rich cultural atmosphere, we end the day at Nakamise Shopping Street, a lively market filled with traditional crafts, souvenirs, and delicious street snacks.

Tokyo → Mt.Fuji → Hamamatsu (B)

This morning, we head towards the Mount Fuji region, starting with a visit to Gotemba Peace Park, which offers breathtaking views of the iconic mountain. Next, we explore the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre, an architectural masterpiece by renowned designer Shigeru Ban. The center’s cone-shaped structure and wooden lattice facade seamlessly integrate with the surrounding forest, reflecting the natural beauty of the area. Inside, visitors can delve into the rich history, geology, and cultural significance of Mt. Fuji, as well as its influence on Japanese art and literature.

Later, we proceed to Hamamatsu, where the evening is free for personal exploration and relaxation.

Hamamatsu → Osaka (B)

Today, we begin with a visit to the Iga-ryu Ninja Museum, located in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. This museum offers a fascinating insight into the history and culture of the ninja—elite spies and warriors from feudal Japan, renowned for their stealth and skill. Following this, we make our way to one of Japan's most iconic landmarks, Osaka Castle.

Built in 1583 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Osaka Castle is a stunning example of Japanese architecture. It served as the center of the unification of Japan during the late 16th century, playing a pivotal role in the country's history.

Next, we head to the bustling Dotonbori district, Osaka's lively entertainment and shopping hub. Known for its bright neon lights and famous billboards, including the Glico running man and the Kani Doraku crab, Dotonbori is a must-see for its vibrant atmosphere.

Osaka → Kyoto → Osaka (B)

This morning, we embark on a journey aboard the Shinkansen bullet train, a marvel of modern technology, traveling from Osaka to Kyoto. With speeds reaching up to 280 km/h, the Shinkansen offers a fast-paced yet scenic view of Japan’s picturesque countryside.

Our first destination in Kyoto is the Fushimi Inari Taisha, one of Japan’s most iconic landmarks, known for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates. Dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice, this shrine is famous for its winding path through the forested hills of Mount Inari, lined with these striking gates. We take time to wander through the gates, visiting the various shrines and temples along the way.

Next, we head to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, where we are surrounded by towering bamboo stalks, offering a truly enchanting experience. Beyond the bamboo forest, the Arashiyama district also boasts other attractions, including the Togetsukyo Bridge, which provides a stunning view of the Katsura River and the surrounding mountains.

Our final stop in Kyoto is the Golden Pavilion, or Kinkaku-ji, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This breathtaking temple, with its shimmering gold leaf exterior, beautifully reflects in the tranquil pond before it. Originally built in the 14th century as a retirement villa for a shogun, it was later converted into a temple by his son and remains a symbol of Japan’s architectural beauty.

Osaka (B)

Today is a day at your leisure to explore Osaka or its nearby attractions at your own pace.

Osaka → Himeji → Hiroshima (B)

After breakfast, we depart for Hiroshima, with a stop at Himeji Castle along the way. Known as the White Heron Castle due to its graceful appearance, Himeji Castle is one of the few original medieval castles still standing in Japan. Its impressive size and architectural beauty make it one of the country’s most stunning landmarks.

Take your time to explore the castle before we continue our journey to Hiroshima.

Hiroshima → Osaka (B)

Today, we start with a visit to Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island. Famous for its torii gate that appears to float on the water during high tide, the shrine is a remarkable sight, with its unique structure built over the sea.

Next, we return to Hiroshima to explore the expansive Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, both solemn sites dedicated to honoring the victims of the atomic bombing during World War II.

Afterward, we make our way back to Osaka.

Osaka → Home (B)
